The Brownstone Foundation was created in October 1999 to support and accompany social and humanitarian projects in favor of cultural and educational development.
May 2010 : Exhibition of Pablo Picasso's "Imaginary Portraits" series, in Holguin, Cuba, during the International Festival The Romerìas de Mayo. These works are part of the collection of 19 and 20th grafic works given to the Cuban people in January 2010.

For the 9th Festival of Young Directors (23-28 February 2010) in Havana, the Brownstone Foundation's "Noemi Prize" was awarded to Ariagna Fajardo for his documentary "A dónde vamos".
